Emily Neal earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marian University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Purdue University, where she specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Before transitioning into psychiatry, she spent over seven years working as a CCRN-certified nurse in Level I Surgical Trauma ICUs.

During that time, she cared for patients and families through some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. She started to notice how often mental health was part of the bigger picture; yet often, not fully addressed. That’s what led her to pursue psychiatry, with the goal of helping patients earlier and more proactively.

Emily works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and more complex psychiatric presentations. She aims to take a thoughtful, steady approach, getting to know each patient, understanding patterns over time, and building a plan that feels realistic and manageable.

At Klarity, she provides medication management and incorporates advanced treatment options such as Spravato®, IV ketamine, and Exomind TMS when appropriate.
